Hello readers,
Finally the sun has arrived here in the UK. We have some nice blue skies and it temp is heating up (a bit). Still can’t count the rain out though, this lovely pic below is both a little creepy, but also an example as not long after this it started raining freezing cold drops. Was not fun. My mum thought it was funny though, cause I called these really tall reeds a “budget bamboo forest”.
April was a strange month and flew past, I’m not sure where it went at all.
Writing Updates
Unbound by the Sea
I am currently only working on this right now, it’s a huge project and it’s also slow going which is a pain and why there isn’t tons to talk about. I’d love to show more teasers and promo for it, but I’m actually replotting a bunch of things for better clarity. I am, however, looking for character art so I can introduce my characters better. And hopefully before long I’ll be able to share my shiny new cover for it as well.
Author Event
Last month I attended my first author event at a local Comic Con. It was a mixed bag for me as it was exciting, but also tough. I got pretty nervous and found it difficult to speak at times, though pushed through it. Thankfully I sold a few books and some merch, but there is still plenty of it if anyone is interested. I have art prints, keyrings, badges, and stickers. I want to put these up on my shop soon, just having a little issue atm. You can order anything through me however!
I brought Koji my tanuki along with me, he was good luck.

Favourite things I read/watched/listened to recently
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Ok so not something I have read or watched or even listened to… but I have been hooked nonetheless. The game centres on the everyday lives of Mii characters residing on an island as they develop relationships and solve problems, all overseen by the player. I love these types of games and I’ve been binging it so much. I love the chaos! I’ve even added characters from Unbound by the Sea into it, just to see how they act.
