Hello readers,
I can’t believe it’s October already, September flew past so quickly. One blink and poof, day has gone. During this busy month, I have been trying to keep on top of everything and even had some time to go shopping an have fun. While there, I returned to a Japanese restaurant I’d been to before and somehow, their food was even better than last time. One of my favourite things to eat is karaage (ka-ra-ah-geh) which is chicken in the most tastiest coating. Even just seeing this picture again is making me hungry.
I also had a miso ramen and picked chicken (there was a choice of chicken, pork, or tofu). This has two gyoza, seaweed, and spring onions in it too. And the broth. The broth. I can’t get over just how delicious the broth was. It’s even made the miso soup I eat every day taste better somehow?? I really love miso, and this one just blew my mind. I really can’t wait to have this again!
I wish there were more Japanese places around here, as I love Japanese food! One day I’d love to compare it to authentic food over in Japan.
On Ream
This month on Ream I have posted up another chapter of Unbound by the Sea. Sha-Haruna’s sister, Sha-Minae speaks to Yuna, but how bad is it?

Tales of Yamato
Editing is well underway for Tales of Yamato, and I’m currently working through the third short story. It’s a slower process than I expected, but I also want to take my time and make this as good as I can get it.
So far, two stories have been renamed. Drowing Hearts has now become The Wandering Kitsune, and Faith in a God has been renamed to The Warrior’s Spirit. These hopefully reflect the stories better.
As for any scheduling, I’m currently waiting until I get closer to finishing my edits, then working out when it’ll be ready for ARC readers, and also a release date. I hoped to get this out in November, but I really don’t feel like that’s attainable, so now I am looking at a January release.
And for those of you who haven’t seen, I did a cover reveal. Here it is alongside tropes that you’ll find throughout the stories.
Want to find new authors and/or books to try?
For October it’s all about fantasy. Come have a look at the many books from indie authors: https://books.bookfunnel.com/FFFOctober/wt8l9xlhv4
